Garden hints for Summer

In these desperate times of drought, its vital to take measures to ensure your garden is well cared for.

  • Use a wetting agent on lawns and garden beds, to retain water

  • Mulching is also a must for retaining moisture in the soil

  • Install a Rainwater tank

  • Regularly water potted plants (observing water restrictions)

  • Its a great time to propagate Hydrangeas, cuttings of Conifers and pot up or plant out soft wood cuttings

If you would like book us in for any of the above, please follow this link or contact us.

Floral tips for Decorating

Enhance the table at your next dinner party by using simple and sustainable decorations.

  • Forage nature in your own backyard, look for dainty leaves and flowers you can place on your table setting.

  • Place your plant material on recycled material, easy clean up.

  • Turn off the lights! Candles are a great way to create mood lighting and an intimate feel. (be safe and please blow them out at the end of the night)

Learn how to explore nature in your own garden with a one-on-one diy floral class. Small group classes can also be arranged.
